May Day!

Standard

One tradition I really love here in Hawaii is that May Day is Lei Day! Now, I’m not super good about getting and giving lei on that day (cause it seems to sneak up on me every year) but I just LOVE that so many people get into dressing up and gifting flowers! Its’s fantastic.

While I don’t have a lei to share, todays imagery reminds me vaguely of a hibiscus. Which I ADORE. They are the most cheerful and happy flowers I can think of. I love their bright bold colors. And, in perfect timing, we have a bunch blooming in our neighborhood. Just in time for May Day.

This stamp set is the tranquil thoughts stamp set. And, though the set calls to mind tranquility, you can bring in some mango melody and BAM you have a big bright ‘almost’ hibiscus. HAHA!

That’s one of my favorite things about stamping– you can make any stamp set/imagery so versatile.

You can tell I liked this so much that I decided to make it the cover artwork. 🙂

If you are local, we would love to invite you to swing by our Waikapu Spring Pop-Up in Waikapu Gardens! It will be a total celebration of Spring, Moms, and all things local!!

Head on over to check out what Anne and Cheryl have for you on this May Day!
