So, I began my journey into natural deodorant primarily because my husband was having horrible issues with deodorant. All anti-antiperspirants caused him to have horrible rashes. And, even the ‘deodorants’ caused him to have rashes and didn’t ‘deodorize’ at all. I decided there was nothing to lose by trying to make him something that didn’t cause him such pain…especially in hot, humid Maui. I made him up some pitty paste and he has been using it ever since! No more rash or STINK! It has been FABULOUS.
These are handmade in my kitchen in Waikapu, Maui!
I have 4 fragrances to choose from:
Lavender-TeaTree, Bergamot-lime, Cedarwood, and Unscented. The fragrance comes from organic essential oils and nothing synthetic or artificial.
I use all natural ingredients. There are only SIX! Beeswax, organic coconut oil, organic shea butter, baking soda, organic arrowroot powder, and organic essential oils. There is no aluminum, parabens, propylene glycol, or phthalates.
A little of this deodorant goes A LONG WAY. You don’t need nearly as much of it as of the commercial deodorants/anti-antiperspirants. And, my disclaimer is that this IS baking soda based which can be too alkaline for some people.

I love this pitty paste! It’s the ONLY natural deodorant I have tried that actually works (and I’ve tried a LOT). The others don’t work or don’t work well and often make my pits itchy to the point of irritation and redness. This doesn’t. I ordered it through the Lavender Farm’s website when I was getting some other things from them and absolutely do not regret it. I’m going to order more now that I know it works for me. And I love the cardboard tube. Fantastic.
